Asbestos Management

Are you legally compliant with HSE Duty to Manage?

We know as the dutyholder you may feel the task of complying with HSE Duty to Manage daunting and complex. We can guide you through the steps and ensure your premises are compliant. Your first step is a reliable management survey to determine if your property has asbestos that requires management – we can even help you with this!

Asbestos Registers

The register is a live document formed from all the known and presumed asbestos taken from up-to-date survey information. Material assessment information taken from the survey is combined with a priority assessment (the likelyhood of the asbestos being disturbed) to form a risk assessment. This helps prioritise higher risk asbestos containing materials. The information in the register is continuously updated through regular reinspections or when new surveys and/ or removal or repair works are carried out.

Management Plans

The aim of the management plan is to detail risk and how it is manged to avoid potential exposure to asbestos. Creating a management plan can be a daunting task, especially if you have a large portfolio of properties. We can help you create a bespoke management plan or review your current plan to ensure you are HSE compliant. As part of your management plan we can also help provide regular reinspections and asbestos awareness training to relevant staff.
